The Path of Memory is a collection of works based on the lives of my maternal ancestors. Embedded in this body of work are the concepts of progency and legacy as they releate to matrilineal storytelling and history collecting.
The I AM series addresses how we choose to name ourselves and what identities we choose, inherit or are given. I am interested in allowing for a creation and interpretation of self that reflects an inner life. This is a search for a psychological/spiritual representation of existence.
